POLIS and ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵare co-hosting a webinar series focusing on the decarbonisation of road freight transport, connecting long-haul and last-mile operations.
This series of three panel discussions will offer a forum for cities, regions and the European freight industry to identify what is needed to maintain efficient goods transport in (peri-)urban areas and across long distances while creating a high living standard in Europe.
POLIS and ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵinvite you to register for the introductory webinar on 13 February 2024, from 15:00 to 16:00 CET.
Both organisations are convening a diverse group of entities in three online meetings to discuss the EU roadmap towards climate neutrality by 2050.
·¬ÇÑÊÓƵand POLIS will highlight different aspects of zero-emission logistics. Exchanges between industry leaders, cities and innovative EU-funded projects will share zero-emission freight solutions and information on the full spectrum of road freight transport.
The webinar series will also provide an opportunity for EU-funded projects to present preliminary results, based on real-world piloting of physical and digital equipment for heavy-duty vehicles.
The first webinar will introduce the challenges of decarbonising the European road freight industry, while limiting the current negative externalities of heavy-duty vehicles in (peri-)urban areas and on the European road network.
POLIS and ·¬ÇÑÊÓƵhave set up these three webinars as roundtable discussions between industry, cities and European projects to discuss innovative concepts, policy proposals and decarbonisation strategies to reach climate neutrality by 2050.
·¬ÇÑÊÓƵand POLIS invite you to the second and third webinars.
