Champion trainers: Empowering Iranian road transport managers

The new champion trainers will train over 200 Iranian instructors based on internationally recognised standards.

Together with ��Ƶmember ICCIMA and the Road Maintenance and Transport Organisation, ��Ƶhas delivered its Train-the-Trainer programme to a group of Iranian road transport trainers, certifying them to deliver the ��ƵCertificate of Professional Competence (CPC) for Managers programmes.

The ��ƵCPC manager programmes for passenger and goods transport provide internationally recognised standards, training methodology and best practices for road transport managers to run safe, efficient and sustainable operations. The programmes ensure that an efficient and transparent training and examination process is complied with to obtain the ��ƵAcademy CPC for Managers certificate.

The participants demonstrated high levels of command across all subjects as well as professional skills in teaching methods and training delivery techniques, establishing the necessary capacity to deliver high-level professional training to transport professionals.

The champion trainers are now equipped to deliver the ��ƵCPC manager programmes to some 200 instructors across Iran, who will be monitored by ��Ƶto ensure high standards in the delivery of training.

The completion of this phase of the training programme, which follows a conference on road safety, professional qualifications and the transport of dangerous goods held in Iran last year, aims to establish high industry professional standards to facilitate regional transport integration and improve road safety and operational efficiency.
