Considering that structural, technical and organisational road safety measures should be taken to prevent incidents in tunnels and keep their impact to a minimum, the ·¬ÇÑÊÓÆµadvocates measures to be applied to all concerned, i.e. road users, emergency services, infrastructure and vehicles. They should include improvement of road users¡¯ understanding of tunnel safety, construction of twin-tube tunnels or setting up emergency plans.
